Sock only for me. I can't feel the pedal and can not estimate the pressure if I have shoes on.

Glad to know I'm not alone! I've always sewn barefoot.

That's funny...I like to kick my flip flops off and drive barefoot too!
In my classroom, if the principal walks in, I start thinking about where my shoes might be. I don't even realize I have them off until someone walks in. My feet seem to have a mind of their own! haha

Sew in flat sandles or bare feet. Learned to drive in a little van in bare feet and passed my test first time at the age of 50 lol

You are not alone. I always have shoes or slippers, usually slippers, on in the house.

When I sew on my Featherweight, I have got to be barefoot because the pedal only has room for your toe. I've tried wearing shoes but I don't get much accomplished because next to the toe pedal is another something??? that stops you from pushing the toe down if you have your foot on both of them.

I am adding to the question, do you only sew with one foot or can/do you use both feet?
Only one (right foot) it's kinda like having someone elses foot it's not to helpful when it comes to sewing
