Any chance of saving this machine
#1
I recently found in the old barn,my MIL's old machine. I looked the serial # up and found out it is a class model 27 made in 1910. My question is has a machine ever been "saved" and made useful again. It is rusty and the wheel will not turn. I hate to see it gone forever. Have any of the experts on this board ever been faced with this same problem?

Hi there... I don't know about this particular machine... but there have been several 'bad' machines being saved. Go over to the Vintage Sewing Machine Shop from the home page of this site (scroll down, it under "User Defined Topic Lists". Then check out the tutorials on cleaning machines...
