I have a chance to buy a Singer 99-13 that has a serial number starting with AA. $100, what do you think? It's in good shape, but no knee control bar.

High for my neck of the woods (South Jersey). Around $25-50 would be about right unrestored and complete. Figure another $25 or so for the kneebar if missing.

The 99's go for very little on ebay (the one's that actually SELL).

Thanks for the info, it was the serial number that was tempting me on this one. The oldest Singer I've ever seen had AD at the start of it's serial number.

Got mine in a cabinet, perfect condition, for $65.00. I'd keep looking or offer less.
