When I'm reviewing photos of quilts made, I realize I'm drawn most to those that use white or neutrals as a contrast to all the beautiful colors. But I ALWAYS forget to purchase these! I'm always drawn to all the yummy colors!

Anyone have a formula they use to help them remember to build their neutral stash at the same time as the rest?

I make a list of all the fabric I need to get and can afford at one time, then I stick to those colors. I know you will see other great fabrics but if you have a little extra put away for such times it will be worth the trip.

Now that I think about it I don't have many neutrals and never thought to get any. Oh well...of to the quilt shop as soon as I get to the states!
