    Watch the guiding line and not the needle. I have that problem sometimes.

    My hair dresser says it not the setting but the combout. I paraphrase it: Quilting is very forgiving. It's the end result.

    LOL I still can't sew a straight line with a machine or make a straight line with a ruler.

    I was told never watch the needle it helped same , but I still get some uneven seams!

    No, I still have issues with a straight line... even with a 1/4 inch foot. I just do the best I can and move on.
