I maybe did a wrong thing by posting my question on another Featherweight question, but here it is again. Sorry about that. I just found one on e-bay for $315.00 with all the bells and whistle from a professional sewer . With all the extras is this a good deal. She also said if there is ever a question or problem to call her and she will help and if she can't she will find out the answer. Never owned one so don't know what is a good deal. Thanks for your response.

Not too bad of a price, but I have seen some for less on Ebay recently. I don't know what the extra bells and whistles are, so can't comment on that. It is easy to find them with case and attachments.

If it's guaranteed I think it's not a bad price, not a super great one either. I've seen them for less, but they don't look like sparking clean ones. I guess part of it is if you are willing to wait and look and shop a lot :-)

It's probably a fair deal. Lately featherweights have been selling for a little less than they used to. If the machine is clean and has been recently serviced that alone is probably worth close to $100 as my local repair lady charges $70 for a machine clean and service.

I paid $345 for my 1947 Featherweight about 10 years ago - machine excellent condition with perfect decals, included original case in excellent condition, original attachments and original manual. I use her and love her to death do us part!
