WOW! Those are beautiful. How do you put those together to make a quilt? Do you have to applique them onto a chosen background?

Wow! Great hubby to get these for you. Here is my story: I went to a fabric yard sale a few years ago. My sister and her hubby hit the yards almost every weekend. She saw a this one in the newspaper yard sale postings and told me about this one, about 28 miles from where I live. It was to die-for, older lady moving and her grandkids are helping with the yard sale, helping downsize the fabrics she collected. $5 a plastic bag full, all you could stuff into a Walmart size bag. A few scraps but most were from a yard to 3 yards. I stuffed $25 dollars worth of great material. I wasn't the only fabric-crazed lady there, several other die-hard-get-up-at-the-crack-of-dawn were there too. Even some sewing tools. Just as I was loading my treasures into the car, the older lady came out and she was yelling at her grandkids. They had taken a lot from her "keep pile" and some of it had already sold and left. Oh, she was upset with those kids. Me? I got quickly out of Dodge City.
