Great Fabric stores.
I am so blessed, ...! I live in San Diego California, Rosie's quilt store (http://www.rosiescalicocupboard.com/ )
is only 3.5 miles from my house. The store have 10,000 bolts of fabric. No kidding, She also has a sale room, and a table in front of the store with other discounted fabrics. Fabric ranges from $6.50 a yard up. However alot of the
is only 6.50 a yard. If I need something it is a fast 10 minutes drive there.
It's A Stitch in Humble, Texas is discontinuing the sale of fabric on bolts. They are selling out of yard goods right now and will continue to have a few precuts and sell machines, patterns, thread, but no yardage fabrics. This is a huge disappointed for those of us from the East Texas area (Beaumont) who have few sources for quilt shop fabrics![/QUOTE]

You should try Quilters Emporium, Hwy 59 south just beyond the beltway 8 interchange. I too mourn the new changes they are making. I live just blocks from the It's A Stitch on Westheimer and they carry a few fq but more machines. I was there 2 weeks ago looking at new sewing desks, awesome gals to help with any questions you can think of.

Those of you in the Dallas area, have you ever been to Quilt Mercantile, in Celeste? It is a few miles east and north of Dallas, but is worth the trip. And my favorite is Quilt Country in Lewisville. It's over an hour drive for me, but again worth the trip.
