Default any idea what is wrong bernina 1130

This is a last ditch effort to find out what is wrong. Machine is skipping stitches every five seconds or so & makes a clicking sound that it hasn't made before. Hook race has been cleaned & oiled & needle gas been changed.
Thanks for the help.

I wish I knew. Can you take it in for service?

Change your bobbin. I've had this happen a couple of time with my 1031 and after thorough cleaning and re-threading, I found on the second time that I apparently had a bad bobbin. I tossed it and haven't had the issue since.

You may need a new check spring. It is a cheap part, but they have to take the machine apart to get at it, so it would probably be at least a 1/2 hour of labor.

If none of the above fix the issue, my guess is that it is out of time. Will need to go in for service

Changing the bobbin didn't work. I guess I'll take it in for service tomorrow. I hope I get it back before our retreat the middle of November.
Thanks for the responses.

I have read that dust or lint in the bobbin area will cause skipping...

Also might be the needle. Even if you just put a new one in, try one more! Make sure that it's all the way up in the shaft and oriented correctly.

The problem was a burr on the hook.
So glad I took it to be serviced and even more glad that it was repaired quickly.
