without actually seeing, touching, could be 1990's...they look like 30's, but you have to realize that reproductions have been around for a while!
and just because the fabric is old, does not mean the blocks are! I making a dresden plate right now using True vintage fabrics, on vintage muslin, by hand...it will appear to be a real vintage quilt when finished! However it was made between 2005 and ???

so one just never really knows...

I agree, these look like 30's. Love the pattern, I think I have it somewhere, I think I will look for it. These are so pretty!

I believe it is the 30's. I have seen that pattern and it said the 30's.

In 1948 at the age of 9 I had leg surgery and could not walk all summer. My Mom taught me how to make this exact butterfly pattern! Some of the prints shown are also what I used. She worked in Eureka Print Dye works and brought home small pieces.

The quilt never got quilted- just blocks sewn together and used for a "beach blanket". In 1978 my DH took the kids swimming when I was in the hospital. It began to rain so they left for home leaving the quilt on the beach. I often wonder if the person finding it appreciated all the hand work I had done as a child.

the prints look too pretty to be vintage. if you take a close look at vintage, the color combinations are usually more ODD than not. also, the spacing is more modern.

the fabric in that photo looks too nice!

see how important your labels are on your finished work???

They look like the fabric in a Alphbet quilt my grandmother made for me in 1929

I believe somewhere in the woods of the 40's. My grandmother had a few of those butterfly print, until she made her own
