There is another variation of the same called Emily's Wedding Quilt by Liz Porter.

Jordan Fabrics has a tutorial, pattern called Roundabout. Love it.

Storm at sea? It uses a variation of the 54-40 or Fight block, as this quilt does.

You'll probably get as many names as folks posting. It's a really old pattern so it probably has a dozen names. But it sure is pretty.

I checked the link to the beautifully quilted one that Feline Fanatic posted above. That one was pieced by GrannyW5, who stated in #31 on that page that it was called "Aura". There seem to be almost as many names as quilters, but it sure is a pretty design!
