I live in South Carolina and we shop in the JoAnns in Savannah. Its a big one. Also when Im up North we have a smaller one here. I only shop the sales with the coupons as their prices are kind of high.

Closes eyes tight and keeps repeating: I will not buy more fabric...I will not buy more fabric...I will not buy more fabric

"Beaucoups" (pronounced bow-coo)It means a LOT in French. Not trying to be a smarty pants, but I took French in high school (during the 14th Century). Thought I'd grab a chance to use it.

hmmm... is anyone concerned about the quality of the fabric at Joann's? Quantity isn't everything.

Yes I also went and felt the same as you...I was ok with my purchases but not overly thrilled.

No more than anywhere else. In my experience every shop has its good fabric and its crummy fabric. It's up to the buyer to tell the difference.

I did make it to my local joann's. I got some great fabric! I ended up going twice. I had to stop myself so I wouldn't overspend and so I would use up what I have.
I hope cotton doesn't go up too much. :(

I have been to JoAnns yesterday and today.Bought lots of $1.00-$3.00 yards. I loved every moment of it, and the girl cutting the fabric actually liked cutting for me. She must be a sewing-quilting type of girl!
