I just found this last night and WOW!!! She also has her Florabund BOM there that was in the McCall's Quilt Designer contest.

http://www.erinrussek.typepad.com/on...ime/my-tweets/

I think I will scrap my ideas about a floral applique design I've been thinking of and do this one.

I downloaded everything last night.

Just be aware that she is asking that the center block design be purchased but, of course that can be left out. I have no idea how much it is as I haven't looked at her shop yet.

I love her blog. Erin is very talented. Her starch tutorials are what got me hand appliqueing. I hope that she branches out and does more than birds and flowers in the future because she has massive , massive talent.

I've used the starch and freezer paper template method on several things now, learned it from the Sharon Schamber network.

I am going to try Sharon's other method of using disolving paper to turn under the applique edges and you just leave it in. It just disolves to fibers when washed. I just received my order of 5 yards from Sharon's website.

I am working on this right now. The center block pattern is $10.00. I just received it last week. I'm having problems hand appliqueing so I'm doing a blanket stitch on my machine. I like how it's turning out.

I just ordered the center. :)

I'm going to hand applique, it gives me something to take with me to work on at breaks and downstairs in the family room.

Where did you find the Floribunda BOM? I was all over the site and didn't see it. Of course, I am an old geezer and probably was looking right at it. Ann in TN
