Purple Birds - aka My Tweets

I have finally completed the wonderful 2011 Block of the Month by Erin Russek which she provided on her web site last year. This one is no longer available free, but she has a new one for 2012.
    http://www.erinrussek.typepad.com/
I used the back-basting/needle turn applique method and it is hand quilted.
I'm sure others of you out there have done this quilt and I would love to see them.

    Ooooh!! Very pretty!!! Well done.
May your stitches always be straight, your seams always lie flat, and your grain never be biased against you.

Stunning! That was a lot of work, I've seen the block patterns and I admire you for the needle turn applique and hand quilting!
