Anyone else "sign" their quilts?

you don't have to buy special paper, just press the fabric you want to use onto freezer paper, trim to size for the printer & run it thru.. much much cheaper. i do it all time.

I've never had a problem with the Pigma pens or fabric ink pads washing out. I press them with the iron after the ink is dry. In fact I've gotten some of the ink on a t-shirt that I've washed dozens of times and it's still on there (where I don't want it.)

This is a reply to your photos on 'Flickwe'. I went there to visit. Love the fabric post cards and your photos were amazing. I am inspired to do some for share for the Christmas hoilday. Putting on my thinking cap. I love tree and some sort of Thanks giving fabric cards would be fun too. Thanks for the inspiration!

Not only do I sign my quilts, but I usually take a fabric pen and print my name, phone number and the year on the seam allowance at the top of each of my quilts.. The printing is covered when the binding is in place.. but could easily be loosened to reveal my name.. A nearly fool proof way to identify my quilts even if they should remove the label and other markings..
