Mine comes in very handy for paper piecing. I only have a 6", but I use it a lot.

Same here. Invaluable for PP'ing.

Just a thought, if the seam is already sewn it doesn't really matter if you trim it off to an exact quarter or not.

I bought mine years ago to take a Carol Doak class and have used it many, many times. I would tell you to go ahead and purchase it, especially for paper piecing.

I use it for paper piecing, sure stops a lot of cutting mistakes. I have the Add A Eight ones too. It's for the small paper piecing when you don't want a lot of bulk. If you do any paper piecing the ruler will be a big help. I bought the whole set right after my first paper piecing class.

The 1/4" add on ruler is the best gadget you can use for paper-piecing. I consider it a 'must have' option because it will guarantee you successful results. Paper-piecing is precise, the ruler will give you that option. I have the 6", 12" and 18", I use the 6" the most. It is an inexpensive notion that pays huge dividends.

No, it doesn't. But it helps to line up the next piece (particularly if it is already cut "to size".)

I do a lot of paper pieceing, and while these would be nice to have, I do all of mine using a regular ruler :D:D:D
