Default anyone use the accuquilt blazing star die?

How is it to piece-easy or annoying? What color combos work best? Do I need to make sure each set is kept separate. They sort of look the same size, but I haven't actually measured them yet.

I was watching Elenore Burns' video and it looks very intimidating. I did find this which explains pretty good what I need to do to make this.

I'm borrowing a friend's die while she is away. I didn't get the directions that usually come with the die so I'm trying to wing it.
