Really, how hard are they??? I adore her newest one with the butterflies and I'm really tempted but geeze it looks way complicated  If you've made one of her patterns, would you post a pic so I can see how they turned out?

Thanks,
Suzy

I've been working on her Forest Hollow pattern. It's not too hard, just time consuming. Lots of tracing & cutting. My biggest fear was the fabric. But I found a kit at Nancy's Notions awhile back with all the fabric I needed. Not sure I would have wanted to pick all the fabric and colors myself. I think that would have been too overwhelming for me because there are A LOT of pieces.

They are not hard at all....I agree with vicki75 in that they are time consuming! Just make sure you stay organized insofar as marking/numbering your pieces.

They aren't that hard and the fabric packs are a really big help if you do not live in an area with access to a lot of fabric shops for locating the fabric you need. I made the one with the golden cat and the sunflowers for my sister after only quilting for 18 months. It turned out very well. I had made only 3 quilts at the time. Good luck Sometimes you need only small pieces of the fabric and if you try to order online sometimes the smallest you can buy is 1/2 a yd.

Just made "Which came First?". Its all in the organizing and cutting. One thing I learned for "next time", I'll be more careful "fussy" cutting the fabrics for a feather effect, etc.

Otherwise, yes its very easy! The applique, however? It will be very tedious! So attractive, though. Would like to do some "Down on the Farm" blocks.

I wished the egg fabric had a bit of shading or something and I plan to draw some brown lines on the "hay" to make it look better. Was a lot of fun!

Before applique

I did one part of an early series, with three trout. It was easy. I used fabrics of my choosing (from stash only) and then gifted it. the person liked it so much, he framed it! and really, it wasn't that much effort for a great finished look.

Ooohhhh Kitsie, it turned out gorgeous. Thanks so much ladies for sharing. I guess I'm gonna have to save my pennies because I think I'll take the leap and buy the kit
