Default Anything new to make with bright batik layer cake?

Has anyone seen any new patterns to use with brightly colored layer cake batik fabric? I placed an order and didn't realize that's what I was getting and now I don't know what to do with it!

Wow, that would be a great challenge. Why not put all the blocks on your design board if you have one or on a table and play with them a little? It will come to you. To me batiks, especially the stamped ones, are so beautiful that I hate to cut them into pieces. Maybe you can come up with a simple pattern of your own and make a nice beach / summer quilt. If you have any leftovers you can randomly piece them together for a nice summer tote.

Try the Double Slice Layer Cake tutorial from Missouri Star Quilt Co. I've made a couple of tops for charity quilts. It's very quick and easy to do. It would be great for those batiks!

If you get a matching jelly roll you can do a hunter star quilt

I did a rag quilt with a layer cake of jelly rolls. Quick and easy.

Fat Quarter Shop has nine pages of layer cake patterns you could look through to get ideas. The fact that yours are batiks shouldn't make any difference to what pattern you use.

I think bright white to cream backgrounds really show off batiks well. Clothilda's has a new pattern called Junk to Gems that looks beautiful in batiks. It is real easy too.
