Default AQS or QCA?

I've been a member of Quilters Club of America for several years now. Free shipping from Keepsake Quilting, a 10% discount from Joann Fabrics are two of the 'carrots' that keep me coming back. However, members have been having problems contacting them, they have been working forever on fixing their website, etc, etc and about all I see is grumbling. Is American Quilter Society better? Are there those who would have an opinion about this?
What do you think?

With AQS you are also able to register for classes at any of their seven shows before non-members can register, quilt entry fees for any of their shows are 66% off, multi-day admission to the shows is discounted, discounts on all AQS catalog products (books, fabrics, EQ, etc), same 10% discount at JoAnn's as QCA plus discounts at both Hertz and Enterprise car rentals, an annual subscription to the magazine (6 issues) at 30% off the newsstand price, unrestricted access to the website patterns, articles, and digital version of the magazine. To me, the magazine alone is worth the annual membership cost, the rest is pure gravy.

I agree, American Quilter Magazine alone is worth the price of membership. And I think you get the 10% discount at Joann Fabrics as well. Correct me if I'm wrong on that.

I completely agree with AnnieSue and ghostrider. The magazine is worth the price of membership. And you do get the 10% JAF discount.

I did forget to mention the magazine I get with the QCA membership. I have noticed that there are more LQS's that give a discount for QCA. Thanks folks.

Oh, not really, sorry it sounded that way. I was wondering if I should switch and although I really like Easy Quilts, it is interesting to try new things which was partly why I was looking at AQS.

I've been a member of AQS for years but didn't realize QCA was also a membership and magazine. I LOVE their quilt shop app and use it whenever I am going on a trip to find shops. I also show it to shop owners if I find one that is not on the app. I think it's free for them and it is for customers, too. Thank you for the info.
