B appeals to me more, but I think the fabric choices could influence that too.

I like the B better for all the reasons mentioned. It looks woven. It looks pleasing to the eye. It joins the blocks and make it flow.

I threw the paper in the recycling.

I was trying to draw what I thought someone was describing. But that thread was deleted, so I never found out if it was or not.

Then I decided to keep on going with seeing how it looked by turning the strip units and by adding colors. A and B used exactly the same units - the difference was that the strip units were perpendicular to the orange squares in A and perpendicular to the brown squares in B.

An illustration of why/how a design wall can be helpful - and capturing the images as one changes the design can help make a decision.

It was one of those (since i don't have EQ) let's see what happens things - I think if I had drawn them as square tops instead of rectangles, the choices might have changed.
