    I make almost always crib size, 45x60". Babies go so fast and I want them to get lots of use out of it. I use my usual, poly batting.

    I think a larger baby quilt is great they can use it as they get older and it can become a throw on their youth beds. The one I made my grandson now fits his twin bed and he is 7. Bigger quilts are great for forts, too.
