Well once again I have procrastonated. My co-workers baby is due this weekend. I wanted to make a baby blanket. Now I need something simple and quick to make. I just have been undecided what kind of pattern to make. I also have been thinking about whether or not to use just flannel. Hancocks here has a (I think) 5" sq. rag quilt out of baby color flannel. We live here in GA. So I don't know if I really want to make a flannel quilt. I feel as long as I get it finished within 2 weeks. Opions please!!!!!!!

Buy yourself a pack of 5" charm squares and sew then together, then put a border on it. Quick, easy, and depending on your fabrics, cute as it can be!

Try the Warm Wishes pattern. I put together a baby quilt in 1 day. All I need to do is quilt it. It was easy and fun to do.

2 pcs of flannel..one 40"x40"...the other 30"x30"..sew together leaving room to turn inside out. After turning, press and sew around the 30" pc. Makes a great gift.

I have made a lap size rag quilt in 3 days. You should be able to do a baby quilt in that time.

OK, this sound simple enough, but I'm a little slow here. How do you sew a 30 x 30 to a 40 x 40 ? What happens to the extra 10 inches?
