Yes, it is for a baby boy. I am not making a baby quilt in this theme.
Not my idea. I just wanted to get QB members response if they had
ever heard of such a thing. I talked to a niece who had heard it is now
popular among young moms. I think it is very weird.

This sound weird, I would like to have a look at that room, it will surely be very much scary. If you like to have a makeover then you can get it done, with easy to install childrens wall stickers, there is a huge collection available at nurserywalls.com. Hope this helps you with baby room decoration.

Since the Moovenber movement started several years ago, Moustaches have become quite a fashion statement.

I do not find the idea of using them for baby decor to be creepy. Not what I would choose myself, but I think it could look great.

If you search 'mustache quilt' in the google image search, you'll find lots of examples of what she means. Younger quilters often have a different style and aesthetic. There's a tutorial on how to make one here, if you're interested.

There are some really fun fabrics out there that have mustaches on them. I personally wouldn't choose that for my childs room, but I can see a young parent going with the trend. I think it could be cute if the parent doesn't mind redecorating when the trend changes.

Where have all you people been? Moustaches are everywhere - home decor, scrap booking, party supplies, fabrics, phone apps. You can hardly go anywhere without seeing something moustache related. I think it is an adorable idea and not creepy at all.
