My cat ignores me, my quilting, even the quilts I made for HIM, and won't sit in my lap or let me pick him up. Trade ya! This house could use a little mischief now that the kids are grown and gone.

What a beautiful kitty...and smart too! Once I was embroidering one of my hubby's t-shirts, and just as I was ready to un-hoop it the doorbell rang. I was just gone a minute, but came back to one of my kitties snuggled on top of it. No harm done, but I did have to throw it in the wash as it was "decorated" with cat hair!

My cat likes my sewing room. It has a window where he can sit and watch the birds and squirrels. My big scrap bin is j use right for napping. When he tires of those, he'll start to pay attention to the sewing machine. The quilt that I 'm quilting is so soft. It makes a good place to observe what his mistress is doing. The spool will go round and round when he hits it. When the needle goes up and down, he tries to catch it and can't understand why I put him out of the room.

I found three spools of thread under the stove today. Apparently the kitties like white. They go thru stuff at night. I have taken to putting everything in gift boxes. I like to sew on the dinning room table and the boxes look better.
