How do others handle that? What is your solution? Do you have a bad quilting habit?
I use to cut, piece, sew, quilt, bind and then start another one. My sisters hated me because I would never start a new quilt until I finished the one I was working on UNTIL I found this board. Now I have a basket full of quilt tops waiting to be quilted because you all keep showing me wonderful quilts and giving me new ideas of things I can do. And I love it. Keep the ideas coming.

Ok,ok I will leave off reading anymore on the board and get up and start hand quilting the top that is sandwiched and ready to go in my little hoop ,before working on my DJ and the one That I am needleturning with a friend, and then maybe I will sandwich one of the other several dozen tops that are finished, Oh then maybe I can set together one ot the several that all the blocks are made before I start on another.

I have always been that way with all my hobbies and crafts and sewing. Only thing I finish all at once is clothes cause I usually make them for special occasions. Usually, most of them get finished or dumped in file #13.

My DH used to call me scatterbrained. I'm not. I'm just left handed.

Sometimes I wonder if I have ADD. I have trouble finishing projects. I get bored and move onto something else. Usually if it is for someone else that motivates me to finish. Although my DS quilt has been in the process for over a year. The center is complete, but I don't like doing borders. They are my least favorite. I like to quilt them myself and I don't mind binding. I really want a longarm, but still need to marry off the kids yet. DS to be married next May.

My bad habit seems to be thinking I have to cover every single surface AND the floor with fabric, scraps, rejected choices, 'maybe' fabric combos, threads, snippets, dropped scissors/rulers/seam rippers/pointers/insert-yours-here, dirty plate/bowl, glasses, used napkins, the detritus of daily life while I'm engrossed in the studio.

Can *anyone* else be as piggy I sometimes seem to be?!
