I have a collection of bandanas. All colors, all different themes. I thought they would look cool in a quilt...anybody have or seen pics of such a quilt?

I have one, store made by Dockers. The sashing is denim colored fabric. I like it as it is very cheery and goes with a multiude of bedroom themes, (casual, kitch, juvenile, country , western,) I bought a bundle of bandanas off Ebay and used those for a valance. The left over bandanas I used as napkins, they go good with my Fiestaware.

Nope but it sounds like a cool idea.

I made a quilt using denium circles, and sewed them all together. I will look for a photo.

Years ago I saw one where they just sewed the bandanas together. Knowing what I know now, I am not sure how well it would hold up  LOL Maybe stabilzer behind it to reinforce the fabric ? They use like any other fabric .

I would use them in a quilt like Maggie-Sue's or like Sharon said, back them with a fusible interfacing first :D:D:D

I have about 20-25 I have been collecting for a future project (not yet determined). I like the denim circle idea. I have one like that about 1/3 done using I spy types and mixed backs. I started it when I was laid up and have not returned to it. I think I would like to try the bandana one, but would prefer something besides denim. Any ideas?

My mil just asked me the other day if I wanted the ones from when she gets her dog clipped - the groomer cannot - for sanitary reasons - take them back even though she washes them - so I will have some soon!
