Glad you are ready. Did you get a chanch to read through the last few pages at the bits and pieces I've added? You have any fabric in mind for the project?

yes i have fabric in mind... so out of my 11 choices i am cutting 2 1/2 inches widths, using all the fabrics, is that correct?

    Barb
Love your color selections. I'll be picking through my stash tonight for my colors and will log on tomorrow to see what comes after cutting 2 1/2" strips and sewing them together. I've done a circular Bargello Tree Skirt and love the looks you get using the bargello design.

Yes, you cut all 11 fabrics at 2/12 in. across the width of the fabric. Don't bulk....you need 11 strips of each fabric cut.
I know that is a lot of strip, and a lot of sewing before you can begin to see your pattern come together. But trust me, once you start seeing the design, it will be worth it.

Want to post a photo of your fabric lined up the way you want?

Before we go on, I want to post some more pictures of bargellos I've done. May help with deciding on fabric choices and how to arrange the fabrics you do use.

I think they are really pretty and would make a good bargello. With very little rearrangement of the colors you are about ready to go!
Since you need to cut 2 1/2 strips of all 11 fabrics, what I would suggest at this point is to cut 1 or two strips of each of the fabrics. Then with the 2 1/2 strips start playing around with getting the fabrics lined up the way they look best to you. I can spot a couple that I would move, but won't make suggestions unless you ask first.
