I only like 505 basting spray. June taylor spray smells too much for me.

I bought a can of basting spray but for my last quilt I was afraid to use it. I am new to quilting, and sandwiching it is so difficult for me. I would love to see a tute for doing this step. This last top was hard to center for some reason. I was wondering if there is a method of doing it. Maybe it was the static in the air, because once I placed it, it wouldn't shift easy, and I kept getting my borders short on one side or the other....know what I mean. Maybe I was concerned about the backing looking square as it was always looking tilted. I hope I'm making sense.

I both always spray and pin. Then thru out quilting when on my domestic after I have quilted so far re-adjust if needed and pin some more.

I just paid $12.99 at JoAnn's. Haven't used this brand before, but I do use basting spray a lot and love it.

Spray baste is the only way I baste. I use any brand, whatever I find on sale. I really can't tell the difference.

I really like it also. Need to be very careful of the overspray. I use lots of newspapers.

I love it! The only problem is figuring out where to do it especially when the quilt is large.

it appears that space to do it is always the problem.

OK, I'll be contrary and say I absolutely hate it. It gets all over everything - your hair, the room, etc. Do it outdoors when there is no breeze.
