Penny, you're a heck of a lot stronger than I am then. I go in just to browse & come out with sev. yards of fabrics that screamed out to me. Wish I had your will power. Ha

Are the batiks that "read solid" easier to use than multi-colored ones? So do you have more of those in your stashes?

I prefer those that read solid as general stash, and buy multi-colored usually when I have a plan in mind for it.

I prefer the solids, but have both of the greens as i am collecting for a quilt. I enjoy the collecting part as much as i go making the quilt, have blacks and white collection, floral collection, green batik collection, lol... and a purple flannel. I probably have enough to make 3 of each now, except the batiks, only 1 store around here sells it

I love batiks!!! My stash is mostly batiks in green, blues and purples but I also have a lot of earth tones in browns and plums. I have some in pastel colors, too. I have both prints and solids. I just love them. Each block is different and adds interest to the whole quilt.

I love your drawers, they are beautiful
