I have been collecting batiks when it goes on sale. I have it in yardage, precut squares, strips, etc. I am looking for a good pattern. Anyone have any ideas for a quilt pattern. When I finish my quilts for the grandbabies for christmas I told my spouse that I would like to make one for him and I. I would appreciate any ideas!! Thanks

When DH got me the mid-arm and frame he made me promise to make a quilt for us to keep. So I started collecting batiks (cause I like them).

Here is a link to the one I'm going to make with my batiks. I have a cream to use for the stars, but think I want a lighter shade.

I have some 10 inch batiks that I have been saving so that I can make the disappearing four patch that I found on the tutorials. There are about 30 of the squares, each one different. I finally picked up enough of a neutral batik fabric for the squares. Hopefully I'll be able to get started this weekend!

The current benartex selection is a quilt using Bali fabrics in a circle pattern. It's not available online, but the picture and source are on the Benartex website. I really like their Golden Pond. It is available online as well as many others.

With batiks, I don't think there is any pattern that wouldn't be gorgeous! I absolutely love them but have trouble making myself cut them!

My first batik quilt was "Trade Winds". It was a free pattern on the Hoffman website. I loved how it turned out and I will make it again.
