Default Batting for table runner?

I am making table runners for Christmas using my stash, I have some thermore batting left over from some
t-shirt quilts and I thought about using that. Will it be too thin?

I just use warm & natural/white. I buy a bolt so always have it in-house.

Thanks, everyone. Trying to use what I have.
This year I have used out of my stash and
have limited my buying to just what I have
to have to finish a project.

i'd actually prefer a thinner batting in case something is set on the edge of the runner, it won't look tippy or tip over
