Bees wax-Does anyone use it
#71
Your going to laugh, but I thought bees wax was used on the needles to make them slide through the fabric easier. I never noticed a different so let it sit in my sewing box. No one I knew used bees wax so I'd never known what it was realy for. I'll try it on thread. E

Isn't that the strangest thing. My quilting teacher never mentioned beeswax and I handquilted with ladies at a church on a big frame and not one ever used it or mentioned it.
I just happened to see it at Tuesday Morning and decided to try it. I broke so many needle threaders trying to thread that tiny needle and now I can do it on the first try.
