I am happily unemployed, not even looking, some days I can sew all day. others its a struggle to get in 15 minutes! Even with no kids at home there are always things that need to get done, then there is the list of errands that someone else thinks I need to do...

I thot when I retired I'd have more time. Then when DH passed away, I was sure I'd have more time. Now that I live alone, I'd have more time. Who was I kidding? I could quit my sewing guild, master gardeners, AARP and Bromiliad club. Then I'd be bored to tears.

Well, as I think about all the great posts on this thread, I think that I really could have had a whole quilt top cut out if I had done that instead of sit here enjoying the QB for the last 2 hours. teeheehee OR, I could have sandwiched one of my umpteen quilt tops, OR I could have cleaned my sewing room, OR.............

I found that setting the timer for 20 mins helps,after work, before I go to exercise class... oh yeah, prioritizing... like the cleaning isn't that important to me, so I'll only give it 5,10,or 15 mins a day. Thank God the children are grown & the GC don't live that close. oh and my thanks to TV programers.... you have mostly crap on so I don't have to waste my time there.
