I'm working on a top. My block is 8 1/2" and my next one I want to be a pinwheel block. I'm just not good with the math part of it - guess I have a mental block when it comes to that. Anyway how big would my squares need to be for it to come out 8 1/2" to match my first one.

    Thank-you.

The half square triangles would need to be 4 1/2" unfinished. I would cut them 5 1/2" then sew and square to 4 1/2".

Does anyone know where I can find more of this fabric (the blue on blue. I had originally bought this from JoAnn's in the little fat quarters and had also seen it on a bolt there, but no longer seem to have it? Or does anyone have any of this fabric? I also thought I saw a post on here where you could check on a site where they may be able to get it.

    Thanks everyone.
