Make him go buy you some very expensive scissors. He will learn not to use them If he has to buy a few.

Thank goodness my spouse leaves my scissors alone. Now if only he'd stop swiping my "sewing" lint roller!

If someone else in this house were to cut something other than fabric with my Gingher's, I might have to do some cutting of my own..... if you know what I mean....)

Great idea! I need to get some scissors to do the larger rough cuts on fusible appliqe so I don't use my fabric scissors. I'll look next time I'm at the hardware/paint store.

Our guild program was brought by a LQS owner who sponsored a "Christmas in July" event and she hired a Santa to come... when he arrived it was with a black eye and some scrapes that were healing. When asked, "What happened???" he deadpanned, "I used my wife's sewing scissors to cut cardboard..." (he was actually in an small accident, but clearly got the laugh!!!)
