Woo hoo.. I am rolling now.. Free motion is becoming my friend. I ordered a "big foot" from online and found a darning foot for my not so favorite sewing machine. By yesterday I had two choices..
Big Foot, no matter how much pressure on the foot peddle I am queen of this now ! excited ! This fits either sewing machine too !
Darning needs a lighter touch on the foot peddle and can zig zag. This sewing machine is not my favorite, but it is worth the 13 dollars cost. So, will keep.
Now on to sewing free motion !
Woo Hoo !

I am using my Big Foot this morning... I'm doing fm pebble quilting. I like the BF because you can see through it. Happy quilting.

Big foot. a chunky plastic foot, attached using the screw at side of machine shank. wide clear plastic view.

in background test strips using various methods and feet. used color fabric so I would not get such a flash back for photo.

The bigfoot is just a very large darning foot - gives a bit more control- a bit easier for novices like me
