I use GO! dies (in a Fiskars Fuse) and am in love with them. JoAnn's often has them for 30% off, and every once in a while for 40% off. A really good sale is 50% off. Their coupons don't work on Go! products, sadly.

You do need to use the extended cutting pads, but they last quite a long time. I don't always use the Go! pads. I just buy whichever extended pads are on sale and shim them. Although that can get annoying sometimes. I try to stock up on the Go! pads whenever they're on sale someplace.

Thanks to the poster above...I had no idea that Sizzix had quilt dies. And reasonably priced, too!
