That's my impression, too. I first big stitched on a folksy wall hanging and loved it. Then I tried it on a large throw and loved it, too. So I think it's a fun thing to do. No stress or worrying about how small you can stitch. I used Perle 5 and love the way it stands out on the project. Guess it depends on the look you want.
I think your quilt is lovely.
I think I read on this Board that someone passing on a galloping horse doing 60 mph cannot tell if there's a problem or not with the quilt. LOL
