I went to the Salvation Army today to buy some towels for my bathroom. The workers that came here to redo a room, used my beautiful color matched towels for rags (paint drops, no less)

So decided to go the SA because I knew I could get some without having to pay top price. I got three, Bath Sheet and 2 bathtowels for $3.80. Like new, made in USA, Royalty Brand, never heard of them before, very thick..

Also picked up some panties, still in package which was never opened. and spotted what I thought was a bag of remnants.

Wrong! When I got home opened this little package. I paid $1.50 for this package. Here is what was in it.

5.5 yards red & white gingham
3/4 yard bright yellow cotton
1 1/2 yards bright yellow with white, plaid.
2 1/2 yards Blue with small strip
2 yards white with true Red polka dots.
1 yard Greenwith small white Polka dots
2 yard, Tiny, Tiny, Blue and White check
2 yards, light turquoise w/white strip machine embroidered
2 yards white w/coral roses and green leaves.
1 yard light coral, plain
1/2 yard deep coral w/white & pink apple blossoms
2 yards CountryBlue Chintz
2 1/2 Yards Chiffon in blue, [purple and lime green.

If I added correctly I got 24 yards for $1.50. This was all packed in a plastic bag about 12 inches long, 8 inches wide and 2/3 inches thick. As I said, I thought it was a bag of remants.

What a bargain!

Wow! I'm so glad your painters were slobs! Your fabric is your silver lining in that cloud.
