I like sewing the binding to the back also!! I even like making my own binding!! I guess it's because I know it's almost finished and doesn't take a lot of thought to do it.

Hand stitching the binding is something I do while watching TV. I don't mind it. I know when it is done, I can go on to the next quilt.

I like hand sewing the back of the binding on, too. I find it very mindless and relaxing. I just have to make sure I get them all done before it's 110 degrees here and with a cat sitting on me.

If it's summer I turn the air on as low as it will go and cuddle with the quilt to sew the binding and watch a good movie on tv. Same during the winter only it's crank the heat up. Fair weather and I don't do binding.

Just getting ready to cut binding too. This will be my second time. I have to look up how to cut it again since I forgot the last time.

I love to do binding. I think hand work is relaxing and I know that sewing the binding on my quilt means I am almost finished. :)

Just think of it as "4 sides" - only 4 sides, you'll be done in no time. (I actually change the count as I get each side done)
