With a domestic machine on a king-size quilt? No, and too small (busy) for the front.

Both of your suggestions would require FMQ and I do not and probably will not ever want to do it! I can do my vine design continuously, though.

I love your design and your fabric choices. All in all it is a gorgeous quilt. Be sure to post after you are finished. Thanks for sharing.

I did see that Alma and was very impressed with it! When the kids said they wanted "my" pattern in Black & white I thought it would not be very nice - but Wow, I was so wrong! B&W is very elegant. Your quilting is beautiful!

Me too, I thought they were going to be a real challenge, but they were actually very easy!! The way I tackled it, half "face" one way and the other half the reverse direction so they meet in the middle of the side. But they are very eye-catching aren't they? (Not a brag - I didn't design the pattern, but the borders caught my eye, too.)

What a beautiful quilt. I have collection of black & white fabric & I'm always looking for ideas for it. What is the name of the pattern?

Hi, Eva. Look for my post farther up under the one from "wildyard" It gives a link to the original post of the quilt. Thanks for your comments!

If it were me, I think I'd stitch right on top of the outline of the flowers. I think anything else would take away from it.

You could randomly outline the flowers in the big blocks. That would be nice. Easy, becasue they are big too! I would not do every one, maybe two in a row, skip one then do one, skip one, etc. Let the block tell you what it needs. First I would stich in the ditch around the white blocks, then do the flowers.
What ever you decide, it will be beautiful. I love the border on the quilt.
