I am a very old fashioned hand quilter...I would trace the flowers in the big blocks and outline stitch the other pieces.

Perhaps a viney look with a couple of leaves? (Oh, it is spring!! The first 2 pairs of swallows just arrived!
If I were brave and could FMQ (have not the least desire to!), I'd do a larger flower in the SBs the same shape as the fabric print but this is a king size and I've done them before, but not when I have to turn it and turn it!.

I cannot afford to have it LAd and the giftee's want me to do it. Nice compliment but....!

I love black and white quilts. I think the vine look would be beautiful on the big block and stitch in the ditch on the other

I would love to be the one to receive this beauty of a quilt. It will be lovely however you finish it.

Kitsie, I also like your leafy design, it simple and it allows the material to speak verses the quilting.

Do you hand quilt? Maybe you could stitch in the ditch around the pieced blocks with your machine and then do some special hand quilted motif in the larger snowball blocks.

It's a lovely top! I would be tempted to quilt it with red thread...

Your piecing is so beautiful and perfect!
