When I Google all these websites pop up to link onto another. I have purchased a book at a LQS called "CRITTERS DANCING IN THE MOONLIGHT" by Brandywine Designs. I also went and picked up a couple coloring books with animals and kids at the dollar store. I bought "CDITM" because of frustration. You could also go to the computer and try printing couple photos of what you're looking for and trace to make your own.

McKenna Ryan does a lot of animals, Pine Needles Designs. I agree that coloring books, greeting cards etc are
a great resourse for applique!
