As gross as it sounds, your saliva really will remove the blood. I pricked myself with a pin while putting the slightly off white binding on a quilt and out of instinct I licked my fingers and rubbed and it worked! I was a bit shocked but very, very happy!

Sooo, tell us, did you get it out? If you did, what did you use?

I did spit on it....several times. Then I let it sit overnight. The larger spot, about the size of a thumbnail, had just really light brownish tinges so I just dabbed it with peroxide. I did the same with the smaller one. So spit and peroxide worked!

I have been told by many quilters that if it is your blood, YOUR SALIVA, will remove it. Something to do with the enzymes. So, if I were you, I would try this suggestion. Please, if it works, let us know. Thanks.
