Go to the dollar store and look for the little sponge thingies that you put between your toes when you do a pedicure. They have wide slits in them for your toes and work wonderfully to hold bobbins and since they are sponge type plastic, they will "stretch" to accommodate different sizes. Each one holds five bobbins.

I found the absolute perfect clear plastic case for my Bernina 830 bobbins. Go to Joann's and where they have the Simplicity machines (binding/piping/accessories) there will be a: "Bobbin Storage Case For SideWinder". It holds 24 of those big bobbins. I tried to attach photo but couldn't (?) But if you go to Joann.com and type in simplicity bobbin it will come up. It is wonderful. Karen

I buy the pony tail holders they make for little girls that are made of stretch terry loops. You get a gazillion for a dollar at dollar stores, put one around the bobbin to secure the thread ends, then I just put different thread types in different bowls, but you could make your own bags if you like.

I don't have a Bernina, but my Kenmore's metallic bobbins happily live in a magnetic bobbin holder. If the Bernina has computerized parts would slightly magnetized bobbins mess it up? If not, this might work for you.

You can also go to the sports department at Walmart and buy fishing tackle boxes which are divided into sections. I have 3 which are about 5 by5 and they hold many, many bobbin. I cut a dowel to string the bobbins on before I lay them into the compartments.
