You can get a bag of 300 for a buck at Family Dollar. Dollar Tree and Dollar General don't have the big bags. I've been using them for a couple of years on my bobbins. Another big advantage is if you drop your bobbin with one of them on it it doesn't roll away.

I saw these for sale in the clotilde book and laughed because for the not sure 10$ price tag you can go to the dollar store and get 50 for a buck!! Thank you for posting this I have been meaning to try it out!

ok, I am not up to par with girl hair thingies.
my great nieces has some of these to put in her hair, are these the same things? sorry does sound kinda dumb, but I don't have any little girls hanging around me!(wish I did though)and small rubber bands placed around the bobbin, who would have guessed! I think I will go get a bag today!
