I use these all the time too. They really work well. I couldn't find them at my Dollar Stores but did find them at my WalMart

Why didn't I think od this? I always have these all over the place after the GDs have been here and I either throw them in a box or in the trash. I will use them now. Thanks.

They have these at our LQS. Can you believe that they get .10 a piece for these little buggers? I got them at Walmart for really cheap.

Wow great idea. I use them to put around the spools of thread to keep them from unwinding. Never thought about the bobbins. They are so cheap. I got a pak at the dollar store then did all mine and my friends too with some left over.

I used the ponytail holders also. then someone I think on here posted an idea about using clear plastic tubing. it's 3/8"-1/2" dia. tubing. you slice it into 1/4" slices then cut a slit through it up one side. so you have a ring that is split. the split slips over the bobbin and closes around the bobbin. you can still see exactly what color thread is in there because it is clear tubing. I bought 1 foot of tubing for 60 cents. makes approx. 48 holders. It's a pretty neat idea and they aren't as bulky. Mary
