A mystery quilt is a quilt people work on without knowing what the final design will look like. The designer of the quilt gives fabric requirements and directions for one part of the quilt at a time, until all the components are constructed, and then they show how to put them together.

I would like to do it but at that time of year I am so busy making Christmas presents and doing everything else that makes Christmas happen.
I was glad I didn't do last year's mystery though because it looks so busy it makes my eyes cross.

Bonnie said that she would release colors and fabric requirements the end of October and start as usual the day after Thanksgiving!

Remember also that you don't have to do a whole Queen-size quilt. You can always cut half and make a lap quilt.

I keep telling myself that not everything has to be a Queen...

I have never done one of her mystery quilts but always admired them here on the Board. I think I will try one this year. Thanks for the information.
