Anyone else doing this? I'm having trouble with the aqua squares. I don't have the simple folded corner ruler and and doing 3 1/2 inch squares as she suggested. But,when I attached them to the heart and want to sew them to the center square, I don't have a quarter inch and thus will lose my point. Anyone else finding this?

I have not seen this pattern but with squares sewn and then folded back to snowball the corners, I find you must sew beside the line not on it.

Check your other rulers. You could just lay the quarter inch line of most rulers, corner to corner on your block,and cut with the ruler as normal. The special ruler just makes it easier to line up the triangle with the seam allowance included.
If you look at the pictures on the pattern, you will see how it's used.
